Crosspoint is helping people who have no church home find a place they can call "home" and grow in the truths of God's Word. We are a group of people that transform our community by sharing our faith and by serving those in need. If that describes the desire of your heart, you have come to the right place.
At Crosspoint, we believe that God began writing a tremendous story when He spoke the world into existence in perfect peace. As part of that creation God formed man to reflect His character and to care for all He had made. Not long after breathing life into mankind His own creation rebelled against him. The result of that rebellion (sin) is death, not just a physical death, but a spiritual death as well. God cannot look upon sin therefore a separation between our Creator and man was formed and thus we are subjected to His wrath.
But God chose not to leave us alone in our revolt; to face an end without hope. Instead, He created for us redemption through the story which is recorded for us in the pages of the Bible. The Bible teaches that Jesus, our Creator and God, took on the form of man. He dwelt among us and lived a perfect life; the only one capable of such. At the end of His time on Earth, Christ was sent to the cross to suffer and die as a propitiation (payment) for our sins.
Fortunately, that's not the end of the story. Three days later Jesus conquered the grave and rose again proclaiming, once and for all, the victory over sin and death. With this Christ restored our relationship with God just as He originally designed.
Today, Jesus sits at the right hand of God in Heaven. He is calling out for Himself a people who will place their trust in Him in order to find the hope and salvation He secured.
This group of people is called the church. We proclaim His message by living out our faith and proclaiming the gospel message in every aspect of life – in work, in family, in friendships, in free time. As believers, we are tasked with telling this story of creation, loss, redemption, and hope until Jesus returns one day to annihilate sin once and for all. Those who have placed their hope in Jesus will reign with Him while those who have chosen to reject His gift of mercy will face an eternity of separation from Him.
In gathering together as the church we are seeking to help one another live out the reality of the redemption Jesus purchased for us, to expand our knowledge in the faith, to grow in the love and admonition of the Lord, and to share the gospel message.
If you do not have a church home or are looking to learn about the love of Christ then we invite you to come join us.
